Cumberland Youth Hockey
earing Up! Registration will be soon upon us!! Registration will be at the hockey arena on September 17, 18 & 19th, 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. As a hockey association, we are trying to make
things more simple and easy for parents and the association. Please take the
time to register online ASAP for USA Hockey, prior to the above sign-up
dates in September, as it will save lots of time on our sign-up nights. There
will be a link on our website directly to USA Hockey and the registration page.
This is for all Coaches and Players. Thank you, and if you have any

822-3851. Our website as a great tool for upcoming events and news! If you haven’t done so already, check it out, and if you have already visited our sight, please do so again, frequently!! We also have a Buy Sell Trade section on our website that is free to use for anybody in our association. Attention Atom Parents… Due to our fee with USA Hockey and WAHA, if your child is playing Atoms and is over the age of 5, you will be responsible for the $40 fee that goes for the USA Hockey and WAHA registration. Again, if you have any questions, feel free to contact Connie Black at 822-3851. Upcoming Events… ♦Rutabaga Parade We need children and parents to come and roller blade in the Parade! Bring your squirt guns again this year, and meet one-half hour before the parade is due to start (starts at 1:00, meet at 12:30 p.m.??) at the Senior Citizen Center parking lot. Wings, Wing, Wings!! Cumberland Hockey will have a Wild Wings stand again behind The Club Bar & Bowling Alley. Please sign up to help!!! Your hours worked will go toward your volunteer work hours requirement for the 2007/2008 hockey season. Contact Sandy Peichel at 715-419-1222 or 822-3809 to sign up. Raffle Calendars Our major fund raiser, the Hockey Raffle Calendars, is about ready to begin. Calendars are being printed and a limited number will be available by Rutabaga Festival time. As specified in the previous newsletter, prior to the official start of our major fundraiser (the calendar raffle), each family will receive information regarding the required net profit/buyout dollar amounts for each upcoming fundraiser, information regarding each fundraiser, and when the fundraisers will begin. The total required net profit /buy out amount can be paid at any time after the information has been received by the family and before the completion of the second fundraiser. More information will be provided to all Youth Hockey families as soon as it is available. If some families are interested in checking out a few of the calendars prior to the Rutabaga Festival, contact Kathy Berger evenings 822-3328 or days 822-2595.
Attention Coaches… Please check your Coach Cards and make sure you are “good” for the upcoming season. Check the WAHA website for clinic times. Recipes are needed for the Cookbook Fund Raiser.
