Board Meeting November 5th, 2006

Present: John Anderson, Sharon Haugerud, Connie Black, Mike Hotchkiss, Julie Neurer, Ken Hart, Nate Anderson, John Olson, Vince Gunderson

·        Motion made by Nate and 2^nd by Sharon to approve minutes from last board meeting.-All in favor

·        Chad Anderson came to address the board in regards to the Adult hockey costs. We told him that we would need to discuss it and make a decision as to what the cost should be. He has also been asked by some players if they were going to have open hockey for younger kids.

·        It was proposed to the board that Chad have an opportunity to have an informal shooting clinic. He will work with any kids that would like to come and just work on shooting. He will work this in with open ice time that we have at the rink for each week, for 1-1 ½ hours. Motion made by Connie and 2^nd by John to allow this to happen, All in Favor

·        Motion made by Nate and 2^nd by Vince that the adult hockey leagues would need to pay $1000 for the year for ice time. Both Men and Women. All in favor

·        Learn to skate will start Weds November 8^th. Betsy Hart, Connie Black, and Jolene Lane will help with this program.

·        Skate sharpening times will be Tuesday’s from 3-5 and 7-8 and Thursday evenings. The squirt team will help with the skate sharpening from 7-8 on Tuesdays.

·        Parent reps for the teams are as follows: High School:  Julie Neurer

Bantams: Stephanie Huntington

Girls: Liz Dodge

Peewee:

Squirt: Ken and Besty Hart

Mites: Connie Black

Atoms: Holly Zenzen & Cory Anderson

·        Motion made by Connie and 2^nd by Nate for the association to purchase a couple of uniforms for the Bob Riebe, our Rink Manager.

·        Next Meeting December 3^rd @ 7 p.m.

·        Motion made by Ken and 2^nd by Connie to adjourn the meeting.
