Board Meeting August 22,

Present: John Anderson, Sharon

 | Minutes from previous meeting were handed out |
- Motion made by Mike Hotchkiss to approve minutes,
- Motion seconded by Sharon Haugerud- All in favor
 | Discussion done on Rutabaga food stand, all is in place
and ready to go |
 | Learn to skate program will begin the first week in
November |
 | Tom Goldsmith will be taking care of the electrical work
at the rink, should be here on Monday to work on completion of the work.
Electricity will be out at the rink through out the weekend. |
 | There is a spring broken on the smaller of the two
overhead doors, Mike Hotchkiss will contact Rice Lake Glass and Door and see
about repairs |
 | An estimate was brought by Jamie Black from Keiwetts on
having the rink rekeyed of the hockey rink. Cost would be $572.76 decision was
made to go forward with this project. Motion made by Mike and seconded by John
A. - All in favor |
 | Registration fees were discussed and fee’s will be: |
- High School - $300
- Bantams/Girls - $275
- Peewees - $250
- Squirts - $200
- Mites - $175
- Atoms – no charge
Motion made by Sharon to approve
charges and seconded by Connie- All in favor
 | Rink manager was discussed, decision was made to bring
in anyone who is interested in the position and find out what they are wanting
from us. We will then make a decision on whether or not we need them, or to
what extent we need. |
 | Permission was granted for Betsy Hart and Connie Black
to move forward with a Women’s Hockey League, it will be Chicks with Sticks,
it will consist of at least 20 women all paying $100 for registration fee. |
 | Decision was made to offer free registration for one
child for every 50 calendars that are sold. |
