Registration, Etc., Informational Letter, September 10, 2007

♦       A Big “Thank You!!”                                       Thanks to all who helped at the Rutabaga Food Stand and the Labor Day Weekend Brat Stand at Louies!  Some of you were able to get in 10 or part of the pre-registration work hours, which will reduce your overall registration cost.  We hope you enjoyed working and socializing with other members of the hockey association and the public, making work time spent well worthwhile!!   Please remember that total annual work hours required for the hockey season are 15.  You can help with the following activities that will give you more hours toward that goal:

EQUIPMENT FITTING NIGHT:

Help is needed October 8th, 9th and 10th from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. each evening for Equipment Fitting Night.  Please contact Ken Hart at 671-3063 to sign up to help.  Helpers need to assist in organizing the equipment and fitting skaters.

CLEAN UP WEEK:

Clean up week will be September 24th thru the 28th.  A clean-up schedule will be posted at Registration for each level.

Dads/Carpenters are needed that week for the necessary upkeep of the hockey arena the nights of September 27th and 28thPlease contact Ken Hart to help.

CAN ANY OF YOU GRANDPARENTS  OR FORMER HOCKEY PLAYERS HELP?  COACHING, ETC. - CALL US – WE’D LOVE TO HAVE YOUR EXPERIENCE AND HELP!!

Calendar Raffle

Families will be required to sell a minimum of 30 calendars.  Raffle posters are also available, which are great to use on a bulletin board at the work place, grocery stores, etc.

**Bonus** Sell 50 calendars per family   and get Free Registration for 1 skater.  Sell 100, and get registration free for 2 skaters, etc.

A family who chooses not to sell the minimum of  30 calendars, must buy out.

The buy out cost is $400.00 per skater.  It is much easier than you would think to sell 30 raffle calendars, and a lot easier than writing a $400 check.
