CE Arrives Soon!

    The ice is expected to be made and ready to use by October 28^th.  Thank you to everyone who came in and registered !!  Our first practice date will be Monday, October 29^th.

          MANY OF YOU HAVE NOT COMPLETED YOUR REGISTRATION.

If you registered on-line, that’s great, but you      ARE NOT SET TO SKATE ON CUMBERLAND ICE.  If you have not registered with Cumberland Hockey, do so ASAP, or your skater will not be allowed to begin practice with the rest of the group.  You must come in and get the necessary paperwork (such as the Code of Conduct) and pay whatever fees show still due in your account.

     The Practice/Ice Schedule is:

Girls:            M, T, Th.    4 to 5 p.m.

Atoms:          Mondays    5 to 6 p.m.

                       Fridays      6 to 7 p.m.,

                       With the Mites

Mites:            T & Wed.  5 to 6 p.m.

                         Fridays     6 to 7 p.m.,

                       With the Atoms

Squirts:         M & Tu.    6 to 7 p.m.

                       Fridays      5 to 6 p.m.

PeeWees:       M & Tu.   7 to 8 p.m.

                        Thurs.      5 to 6 p.m.

H.School:       M, T, W & Thurs.

                                         8 to 10 p.m.

Games             Beginning Fridays at

                        7:15 p.m. & Weekends

Open Skate      Weds.     6 to 8 p.m.

Figure Skate    Thurs.    6 to 8 p.m.

  $$Calendar Raffle Update$$

Most of you have checked out your 30 calendars to sell.  For those of you who haven’t and wish to buy your way out of the obligation to sell your calendars, the cost is $400.00.

Some of you have already sold 30+ calendars, and that is just great!  Thank you for the effort you are putting forth!! 

Don’t hang onto so many sales, however, that you lose track of your tickets and money collected…  Turn in your sales ASAP.  This will also give the association important operating revenues to help   pay for our indoor ice and needed maintenance.

Be sure to clearly mark the box [X] on your ticket stubs to show if the calendar was sold at one for $20 or one of 3 for $50.00.  Also please see that whoever purchases a calendar writes down their complete mailing address and phone number – It’s a shame when we can’t mail a winner their check because of an incomplete address!!

Turn in your sales either to The Apothecary, the Utility Office @ 1265 2^nd Avenue, or to Ken Hart, our treasurer.  THE DEADLINE FOR CALENDAR SALES IS DECEMBER 1^ST – CALENDAR SALES MUST BE TURNED IN NO LATER THAN  THURSDAY, NOVEMBER 29^TH,  TO GIVE THE RECORDER ENOUGH TIME TO ENTER IN EACH INDIVIDUAL TICKET, so that when they are drawn from the barrel, the winner’s name and address can be recorded and the ticket thrown back in the barrel to have a chance at winning again.

THIS IS A GREAT FUND RAISER!  GET OUT THERE AND HAVE SOME FUN SELLING & REPRESENTING CUMBERLAND YOUTH HOCKEY!!

    WORK NIGHT  ~  PAINTERS NEEDED

Sorry for the short notice, but if you are looking       for work hours, we need painters!  On Wednesday, October 17^th, from 6:00 to 9:00 p.m., painters are desperately needed. Other odd jobs remain to be completed too before practices begin.  Even if you don’t need to get in any further work hours but just want to help (or know someone who would like to help) please contact Ken Hart @ 671-3063 – Thanks!
